HELLHOUND - Hyakkisyo Shion

Hello.
Here is my new wallpaper. It is with original art by Shirow Masamune, from the HELLHOUND artwork series (part of the PIECES artbooks), with the main character Shion.
I wanted for long time to make wallpaper with Shion and finally did. I really like her design, and maybe I will make more wallpapers with her.
Also I want to make other wallpapers based on the characters from the PIECES artbooks (alredy made few with Cyril (& Iris) from PhantomCats/W-Tails Cats series).
Little more to this wallpaper; It did take me longer then I was expecting. The render/cut of Shion did take some time, but most time I did waste on the beckground. I did make one, but in the end it was not what I wanted for this wallpaper, so I did remade the background from the ground + made the new one with more parts/layers then usual (I will probably use the "old" background on other wallpaper, alredy have I idea for it). Next the small things did take time, like made brushes, or like the tree in background, I did draw like 3-5 of them only to use one. Then searched my photos from Japan for the pagoda (and make the render/cut from it)... sooo, it just took me long time to finish this wallpaper.

ORION

Hello everyone.
One again after long time I did make a new wallpaper.
I did started to work on this wallpaper in April, but then I kind of did not have time and motivation to work on it (or on other wallpaper). It took me long to make renders of Susano and Seska... aaaand also I did make it two times because I'm stupid... first time I did it on lower resolution/quality images, oooh... plus in the end I did not used the render of Seska at all, but one I did have for some time.

I really hope fans of this great manga will like this wallpaper and those of you that don't know Orion and like this wallpaper will read it. This manga is worth your time ;-)

Ghost in the Shell - CyberWorld

New Ghost in the Shell (攻殻機動隊) wallpaper.
I worked on it pretty long, mostly because I was not satisfied with the background and I changed it many times. My first idea was totally different from the final "product", but it just did not worked with that idea. And also the Motoko render did take time. At first I did make a scan from poster (CYBERWORLD poster collection). The problem was that my scanner is only A4, so I did scanned it on two times and then merged the images together.
I wanted this wallpaper with original Motoko by 士郎正宗, I just love his art and I think he is a genius.
I hope you will like it :-)

W-Tails Cat - Shirow Masamune

Finally I was able to make new wallpaper. Manny things to do now in work and only reason I was able to finish this one is that I was ill.
OK, so more to this work. Wallpaper based on art by my most favorite illustrator 士郎正宗 (Shirow Masamune), with Cyril Brooklyn & Iris Hallett from W-Tails Cat/PhantomCats artworks.
I tried to make this wallpaper in the style of Shirow Masamune, tried to make it little like a official wallpaper to W-Tails Cat. Pretty long time I have make the "code". It is still long away from original, but I tried my best on it.
Also I was not sure what exactly to do, I wanted to have there Cyril, Iris and the W-Tails Cat logo, but with the background I had hard time. I tried many things, but in the end I have ended by this steel like, simple background.

ORION - Susano & Seska

My new wallpaper to one of my favorite manga, ORION by 士郎正宗 (Shirow Masamune).
This is my second wallpaper to this manga, the first one I have made some time ago can be founded here.
This new feature the two main characters Susano & Seska, plus on the background is Princess Kushinata.
I think I will make more wallpapers to this manga in the future, because I love this manga and I think it should have more attention.

PS: maybe the two wallpapers I have made are the only to Orion, or are in high definition.

Appleseed - Specialists

I was planing to make wallpaper to Appleseed long ago, so finally I have made one.

Base of this wallpaper is Deunan Knute & Briareos Hecatonchires. Image of them is from the the artbook Intron Depot 1. I have decide for this image because I love the look in Deunen's eyes, the eyes are just wonderful.
The Mobile Fortresses is also from one of the images in Intron Depot 1.
Inspiration to this wallpaper I have taken from other illustration by 士郎正宗 (Shirow Masamune).
I wanted to make this wallpaper little close to original art by 士郎正宗, but it was very hard. 士郎正宗 is just the best illustrator and his illustrations are very detailed and complex. I can not compare with him in any way.
I really hope you will like this wallpaper to the great manga Appleseed.
