IkkiTousen - Shining Dragon

New wallpaper. Better new wallpapers, it is a set of five wallpapers to 一騎当千: Shining Dragon.
I have made this wallpapers so they can be used in Windows wallpaper slide show.
With this set I wanted to achieve the effect of selecting characters in a game. This set feature five characters from the game/series, Ryomou Shimei, Kan'u Unchou, Ryofu Housen, Ryuubi Gentoku and Sonsaku Hakufu.
The wallpaper(s) is made from few "section":
1) "selector"
2) Character
3) Character base info: name, school and class, three measures and height.

Primarily I wanted only make it with Ryomou, Sonsaku and Kan'u. Then I have decide to add Ryuubi and Ryofu. Ryofu have take me much time because I did not have her render, so I was making one. Also by Ryuubi I needed to make some more edits. I also wanted to add some more characters, Chou'un & Kakoen. But there was some obstacles. At first, it was time, making five have take much of it. Second, I did not have any images of them that would fit in that concept, or they were low resolution, etc.. And third one, the most biggest obstacle, I'm lazy.

I recommend:
- download all five wallpapers
- make sure that the wallpapers have this order*:
--- 01 Ryomou
--- 02 Kan'u
--- 03 Ryofu
--- 04 Ryuubi
--- 05 Sonsaku
- set them to change every 10 seconds (without shuffle).
- enjoy the slide show :-)
*if necessary rename the files, but it should be in order when downloaded from theAnimeGallery.com

PS3 - Dark Souls

I have made new wallpaper for PS3.
It is to one of the best games I have played, Dark Souls.
I was only going to change the wallpaper I had on my PS3 to something else. And I was like: "hmmm, a Dark Souls wallpaper would be good now". There are many good Dark Souls wallpapers, but none of them was exactly what I was looking for... so I have made my own :-P
I hope Dark Souls fans will like it.

CANAAN - Rainbow in the Dark

My new wallpapers is to the series CANAAN.
This wallpapers are inspired by the song Rainbow in the Dark from the band Dio led by metal legend Ronnie James Dio.
I have redo this wallpaper four times to end up with this version. I had the idea maybe a year ago, but I could not end up to give it the right shape. But Monday (11.II.2013), I have take a little pause in work, closed eyes and listen to this great song... And finally I have see it.

I wanted to catch few things from the lyrics:

• Rainbow
  - Alphard and Canaan are "the rainbows" left in the dark. All the characters of CANAAN were like lost in the darkness, so thats is why I think it suits to lyrics: "You've been left on your own, Like a rainbow in the dark".
• Dark
  - ... what to tell to this, hmmm, don't know, the wallpaper just needed to be dark.
• Lighting
  - it is pretty dominant in the wallpaper, it shows the freedom which both want to, some light in the dark (Canaan have found it).
• image caught in time
  - this is interpreted with the clocks and the image of Alphard/Canaan "swallowed by the darkness". This should also remind on one of the last scenes from the anime, in the gallery where Maria stands before the pictures she took.

PS3 - Final Fantasy XIII-2

My new wallpaper for Sony PlayStation 3 XrossMediaBar.
I wanted to make wallpaper for PS3 with Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII-2 and here it is.
This wallpaper have take me almost the whole day to make. The base was done quick (background, Lightning...), but then I have constantly changing the XMB look. at first I have a simple one, then I have changed it to a metal look with the "circle" for the selected category. I made the circle little similar to the gate in Hisoria Crux. But I did not like that one.
After that I have try to use the circle as background for more icons, not only for the category icon. At first I have add three more, later the rest of them. And this part took me a lot of time. I needed to check many times if the circles have the right size and are on right place under the icons.

Goddesses

My first wallpaper for the Year 2013 (Yes, yes, I have started it in Dec 2012).
It is from the series Ah! My Goddess!.

What to tell to this wallpaper. Only that, that I had idea to make a wallpaper with 4 characters in panels. But at first I did not know to with series.
At first I was thinking on IkkiTousen, but I have made really many wallpapers to this series, so it wanted something else. Then I was thinking on Bleach, with Yoruichi, SoiFon and Rukia, but I missed one character that would fit in the concept. Next was Bakuretsu Tenshi, but I was like "NO, at first finish the unfinished".
After some time suddenly 'Ta Daaa', Ah! My Goddess!, that is the right one!! And the result you can see below.

IkkiTousen GG - Christmas Angel

My second Christmas wallpaper.
The first Christmas wallpaper I have made was "Gift from Cyril" with Cyril Brooklyn, a original character by 士郎 正宗 (Masamune Shirow). This time, it is Sonsaku Hakufu from 一騎当千 (IkkiTousen) as a Christmas Angel.
This is a little Christmas present from me to everyone. I really hope you will like this wallpaper and that it will do you a good mood on the Christmas.

The Creation

My new wallpaper is with original art by 白亜右月 (Hakua Ugetsu), one of my most favorite illustrators.

When I have first time see the cover of the artbook VERONICA, I was thinking: "she looks like a goddess". And from that come the idea for this wallpaper.
I was not sure how to show that she looks to me like a goddess, then I came up with that idea she could create something. But what could create?
At first I was thinking on Earth, but It was not looking good (or more I didn't like it). Then after painful considering I have decided for a mountain. For a long time I wanted to add to wallpaper I made something from Slovakia (yes, I'm from that country). So I made it now, the mountain she is creating is Lomnický štít.
